Do you find yourself always thinking about how uncomfortable you feel in your clothes or feel about your body?
Do you feel like you’re missing out on living your best life because of your food stress and struggles?
Does your inner food police chime in questioning everything you eat, followed by feelings of guilt and remorse?
Then you’ll LOVE what I have to share with you today!
One of my Healthy, Happy You Program graduates, Eliza, and I recorded something special for you, and I know you will find what she had to say super motivational!
Before Eliza came to me, she felt like she had tried it all – Slimfast, Weight Watchers, Tone it Up…all kinds of diets. She said she would get sucked into the marketing and promises of a happier, more confident life, but nothing stuck sustainably for her.
She had been struggling since she was a teenager and felt like her relationship with food and her body took over her whole life. She avoided eating out with friends to not give in to food temptations, ate chalky, gross diet foods instead of foods she actually liked, and would obsess over the size label in clothes.
She described herself as being totally obsessed with food. Every time she ate, she felt bad about herself and would question everything, thinking things like “why can’t I be one of those girls that craved salads instead of pizza and fries?” and “why didn’t I have the self control to stop myself from eating that and make the right choice?”
Her ah-ha moment to decide to get support came when she realized she was so happy with every other area of her life, but still wasn’t happy with herself. She remembers thinking “this isn’t right.”
She recalled even back when she was at her skinniest she was the most unhappy. It clicked that being a certain size wasn’t going to magically make everything better and she didn’t want to spend any more time living that way.
But now, 2 years post-coaching program, Eliza has found a level of peace and freedom with food, and loves and accepts with her body in a way that she never thought possible.
After listening, you’ll walk away with some real, tried & true action steps and strategies from her biggest takeaways from the program to approach your food and body struggles in a new way, one that will help you achieve sustainable success and start living a happier, healthier life!
